A Direct Run is a dedicated delivery service where your goods are transported directly from collection to delivery, with no hub stops, transhipping, or handling. This secure, door-to-door service is ideal for urgent, time-sensitive, or high-value consignments.
At UK Pallets, we source and provide dedicated drivers and vehicles for every job, ensuring speed, safety, and reliability.

Important information for Direct runs and dedicated vehicles

Customers must ensure that:

  • Goods are safely packaged and secured
  • Items are ready at the agreed collection time
  • Load weight and size comply with vehicle limits
  • Dangerous goods must be declared during booking and may be restricted.Waiting Time
  • 30 minutes loading/unloading time is included
  • Additional waiting is charged at a standard hourly pro rata rate

Are your deliveries truly same day?

Absolutely. Once your consignment is collected, it's delivered the same day using a dedicated vehicle, whether locally or nationally.

How much notice do you need?

We can often arrange same day collection with no advance notice. However, early notice helps ensure the right vehicle and crew are available.

What if I need to cancel?

  • Cancellations on the same day: 50% charge
  • Cancellations after dispatch: up to 100% charge

When is payment due?

  • Payment is due before dispatch – A secure payment link will be sent once your booking is confirmed.
  • Late or failed payment may result in cancellation or vehicle not being booked
  • For complex or recurring transport needs, please contact our team to discuss tailored payment terms.

What happens if there is a delay?

All delays will be communicated to you please note UK pallets can not be held responsible for:

  • Delays due to weather, traffic, or other unforeseen events
  • Indirect or consequential losses
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, including strikes, road closures, extreme weather, or accidents.
